to spend $1.2 billion in research funding to produce
hydrogen-powered automobiles, a pet project of

Healy Founding Member of U.S. Asia Pacific Council
Wexler & Walker's Bob Healy is one of a distinguished group of scholars, businesspeople
and public officials who will form the newly created United States Asia Pacific Council.
The group will focus its energy on strengthening networks and relationships that benefit
from a strong level of U.S. involvement in the region. Founding members are those who
have made "outstanding contributions to the U.S. relationship with the Asia-Pacific region,"
including such dignitaries as Asia Society President Nicholas Platt, Lee Hamilton,

Walker named to Postal Reform Commission
President Bush named Bob Walker to a commission to look into privatizing part of the United
States Postal Service. The nine-member presidential commission that will be charged with
recommending laws and administrative changes to ensure the long-term viability of postal service.
