TSA Officials Join Wexler & Walker
Tom Blank, currently the U.S. Transportation Security Administration’s Deputy Administrator (Acting) has held senior posts since the agency was founded after 9/11. TSA’s longest serving senior leader, Blank is joining Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates, one of the nation’s premier government affairs firms in mid-September and will serve as Vice Chairman of the firm. Chad Wolf, assistant administrator for policy at the Transportation Security Administration, will head to Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates in October. Wolf will lobby and consult on transportation and homeland security issues. A Texas native, he has worked for Sen. Chuck Hagel, (R-NE), and former Sen. Phil Gramm (R-TX).
Treasury Official John Duncan Joins Firm
John Duncan, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Legislative Affairs, is joining Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates on April 1, 2005. He will serve as a Managing Director of the firm.
As the Treasury Department’s senior official in charge of congressional relations, Duncan has worked closely with Senate and House leadership and the Chairmen and members of over 10 congressional committees. He played a key role in the passage of major parts of the President’s legislative agenda, including the 2001, 2002 and 2003 tax cuts, the Patriot Act, the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and Sarbanes/Oxley.
Prior to joining Treasury, Duncan served as the Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for U.S. Senator William V. Roth, Jr. from 1985 until January 2, 2001.
