April 20, 2007. President George W. Bush shakes hands
with Senator Barbara Mikulski, sponsor of H.R. 1132, the
National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program
Reauthorization Act, after signing the bill in the Roosevelt
Room of the White House. With them are, from right:
Mrs. Laura Bush, Secretary Michael Leavitt of the Department
of Health and Human Services, Wisconsin Congresswoman
Tammy Baldwin, sponsor of the bill, and North Carolina
Congresswoman Sue Myrick, the legislation’s co-sponsor.
