PATRICE L. STANLEY

Patrice L. Stanley brings experience in government relations, intergovernmental affairs, public relations, civil rights, procurement and contract management and minority business programs to the Wexler & Walker team.
At Wexler & Walker, Ms. Stanley manages day-to-day client communications, monitors legislative, administrative, and policy developments, and assists in legislative and policy strategic development.
Prior to joining Wexler & Walker, PPA, Ms. Stanley served in the Federal Highway Administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs within the Executive Office of the President during the Clinton Administration. Most recently, she served as the manager for Procurement and Minority Business Enterprise with the Maryland Environmental Service.
With over a decade of experience in federal, state and local Democratic politics and campaigns, Ms. Stanley has worked for several presidential candidates, as well as candidates for various state and local offices.
Ms. Stanley received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Washington College in Chestertown, MD. While attending Washington College, she had an article entitled “The Realities of Moving Welfare Recipients to Workfare: Perspectives on Education and Training for AFDC Recipients.” published in the Journal of Intergroup Relations.
Ms. Stanley joined Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates in January 2007.
