ROBERT JOHN WALTHER

Rob Walther joined Wexler & Walker in 2007 after completing his law degree and brings with him experience in campaign and coalition organization, legal procedure, and legislative research.
Mr. Walther currently works on matters involving public policy representation and advocacy primarily in the policy areas of energy, telecommunications and homeland security. He is responsible for client communications, legislative and policy research, and coalition and strategic development.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Walther helped organize and manage the New York office of the Bill Bradley for President Campaign in 2000. He has also worked or interned for financial mainstays Bear Stearns and Cantor Fitzgerald, law firms Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Davis Wright Tremaine, and US District Court Judge Hon. David G. Trager.
Mr. Walther was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in History by Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where he was a member of the law review and earned its Certificate of Meritorious Service. Mr. Walther has also co-authored the Practicing Law Institute’s Newsgathering Related Torts publication.
